SatTrack ("we", "our", "us") is a GPS tracking application developed by Quominus Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SatTrack mobile application and web dashboard.
We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, company name, telephone number, and address. We also collect device location data from GPS trackers you register with the service, and your device's push notification token to deliver alerts.
The app may request access to your device camera or photo library solely for the purpose of setting a profile picture on your account. We do not access your camera or photos for any other purpose. Camera use is entirely optional and the app functions fully without it.
SatTrack collects and stores location data transmitted by your registered GPS tracking devices. This data is used to display device positions on the map, provide location history, and trigger geofence alerts. We do not collect location data from your mobile phone.
We use your information to provide and maintain the SatTrack service, including displaying device locations, sending push notifications for alerts (geofence breaches, low battery, device offline), and managing your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United Kingdom. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data at rest.
We use the following third-party services to operate the application: Google Maps (for map display), Expo (for push notifications), and Storj (for profile picture storage). These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of data.
We retain your account information and device location history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
